The fountain designed by architect Flavio Conti is protagonist in the garden of this private Piedmontese residence. The sloping terrain on which it stands and its sharp, clean design required elaborate workmanship to be carried out on the geometric layout, each cut being made using numerical control machinery. The stones selected to obtain this delicate duotone effect were Hauteville and Grey Quarzite. The limestone surface has been treated with medium brushing while the Quarzite has also been flamed.
